Cohabitation Agreement
Unmarried couples have fewer legal rights than married couples, and therefore cohabiting couples may want an agreement before they move in together or if their circumstances are changing, for example if they are having children, buying a property together or getting a mortgage. This could also be the case for friends buying a property together.
An agreement can set out how you will share finances while living together or what happens if one of you becomes ill, dies or you split up.
Practical Family Law can create an agreement that helps protect your assets, secure your future, and avoids problems in the future.
